Rest In Peace, Sean Costello

Young blues phenom Sean Costello passed away early yesterday morning, April 15 2008, a day shy of his 29th birthday.  A preliminary Google News search turned up nothing, so I can’t credibly report on the circumstances surrounding his death.

But truly, 29 is too young regardless of the circumstances.

I don’t have any of Costello’s albums and I know him primarily as the other young hotshot on Susan Tedeschi’s excellent Just Won’t Burn.  But check out the music on his MySpace page and tell me you don’t want that new album!

My condolences go out to Sean’s friends and family and fans.
