Check out this newspaper article about Hiss United Methodist Church in Parkville, Maryland. They are raising money for a summer mission trip to Louisiana to team up with The United Methodist Committee on Relief and assist in repairs and cleanup after Katrina. One of the fundraisers includes a variety show during which Rev. Mark Smiley will play his ukulele.
A great cause, and a great mission. And who knew I wasn’t the only Ukulele Methodist pastor?
